100th Anniversary – Devotional Book

These devotions are to be written by you—current and former members of Temple. And before you say no, I want to emphatically declare, “Yes, you can!” Maybe it is a story about your involvement at Temple—a specific trip or event you remember—or maybe a personal reflection on something in your life such as your mother’s influence upon you or God’s provision for you in challenging times. You HAVE a story! Tell it! Put it in a devotional format. Below, you can find a variety of NKJV Scriptures to choose from for your devotional thought. (If you would like to use one that is not listed, feel free to add it.) You will also find a submission form below where you can write your short, 350 words or less, devotional. For those less technologically savvy, don’t fret! Someone can help you if you let us know. For any other questions, feel free to contact Judith Roberts at robertsjudimc@hotmail.com. While we cannot guarantee that every submission will be published, we are doing our best to create a book that is full of a variety of Temple voices, experiences, and wisdom. We really do have a lot of blessings to recount from the past, but I also believe that Temple is still made of people committed to the great cause of our great God. The faith and sacrifice of our predecessors are not just characteristics of our past; they are realities of the present! I see within our congregation the same determination to let our light shine, and I am even more excited today about our work than I ever have been.
