The Next Chapter Capital Campaign is specifically aimed at securing the financial resources necessary to address the renovation of significant areas of our campus. From the restoration of our Sanctuary to a new connection point for members and guests, the project will include both aesthetic enhancement and deferred maintenance improvements.

“As a result of the Next Chapter Campaign, we are looking forward to seeing the vision God has prepared for Temple Baptist Church as a whole and for us as part of this body of believers. What we do will lead to more baptisms, more missions efforts, more people being sent out to minister, more spiritual growth, and more generational connection."

“Temple Baptist Church has a long history of impacting people for Christ. Our family has been blessed by the love and support of the Temple Family. The Next Chapter Campaign will create so many opportunities for our church to expand upon the vision that God has for Temple, the Ruston community, and beyond.”

For almost a century, God has written His story through the Temple family. Through the Lord’s faithfulness, Temple Baptist Church has expanded Christ’s ministry and mission throughout Lincoln Parish and the world. No doubt, we are indebted to the generations who came before us and made this story a reality through hard work and sacrificial giving. But now, it is our turn! The Lord has called us to be a part of the Next Chapter . . . for us to reinforce and strengthen the church as we prepare for a new century of mission!

Indeed, this undertaking will retain the beauty of our Sanctuary while also confronting fundamental upkeep. Safety issues, ministry impact, and aesthetic value are priorities that have and will guide our efforts as we move toward the Next Chapter.

When we moved to our current location, Dr. Robert Magee, one of our revered pastors of the past, proclaimed: “A church in a prominent place attracts attention. Like a shining city on a hill radiating light in all directions, the church is to radiate the light of Jesus Christ to the world around us.” Certainly, our Lord has used us as a people—and even our campus facilities—to shine forth His light. Our efforts to renew our campus will only intensify our experience to stir up one another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25). We pray that you will join us in this exciting journey as we begin the Next Chapter together! And let’s advance our story for His glory!
