WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Come to join us in this great faith walk as women. We have a place for you! Temple Women desire to grow in their faith walk and with each other. Bible Study opportunities are offered during the Fall and Spring. Additional times of fellowship with great women of Temple are offered throughout the year. We have much to learn from each other.

Heartfelt Friend Groups
What is Heartfelt?  Heartfelt is a Titus 2 women’s mentoring ministry designed to develop closer relationships across generations among the women in the church and to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.  Heartfelt Friends is for women of all ages and stages – from 18 to 108! We are moms and daughters, sisters, friends. We are all friends who become family.

♥ Our mission is to pass on the legacy of faith and family to the next generation.

Where does your heart beat for missions?
Women on Mission (WMU) is ongoing missions involvement and learning that extends across the globe. As a part of Women on Mission, ladies have the opportunity to participate in missions and ministries that enable them to experience a variety of ways to serve Christ. Ultimately, the purpose of all Women on Mission activities is for every person to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Mary - Martha Group

First Monday | 6:30 p.m. | Member’s Home

This group has a mission-centered program and mission project at each meeting, with a special emphasis project at Christmas. Contact Betty Lucas (318-255-9665, boo@suddenlink.net) for more information and where they are meeting this month.

Myrtle King Lunch Bunch

Second Thursday | 11:45 a.m. | Fellowship Hall

Bring a sack lunch and join this group for a missions program presented by a visiting missionary, staff member, or returnees from a short-term mission trip. Their mission is to inform and inspire the Christian woman to inspire her world for Christ, teach the importance of missions, and touch those around them with love, concern, and compassion. Missionary Round Table

Second Friday | 9:30 a.m. | Member’s Home

This group meets for fellowship, prayer, and a review of a book with missionary emphasis. There are a different hostess home and book reviewer each month. Contact Wanda Lemke (318-255-0850) for more information and meeting place this month.

Charlotte Mabry Bible Study Group

Last Monday | 6:15 p.m. | Member’s Home

This group is for women who want to grow in their faith and actively share the love of Christ through Bible study and support of a yearly mission project. Meetings are in different homes of the group members and notification is sent out in a text each month. Bible Study is led by Sonja Walker Fuller and is open to all women in the Ruston area.  Contact Jan Murphy (318-255-4262) for more information and where they are meeting this month.
