Babies - Grade 6
Welcome to the Children’s Ministry of Temple Baptist Church. Our Preschool Ministry takes place on the first floor of The Journey Place. This facility was opened in September 2012. As preschoolers enter The Journey Place they are greeted by a forest theme with lots of little “critters” to remind them of God’s wonderful creation. Our preschoolers are called “Tiny Trekkers.” Our 1st-6th graders meet on the second floor of The Journey Place. As children trek up the mountain to the second floor, they will see a high tech theme at the top of the mountain. Vistas represent the areas of the world where Temple is involved in mission efforts. Scripture references are visible along the way. Interactive videos play in the hallways as well. All of these, and much more, help teach our children what it means to be “on mission for Christ.” Our desire is to see children become faithful followers of Christ and share His love with others.
Safety & Security
We use a computer system to check children in and out of the facilities secure areas. All members and regular attendees are entered into the system to allow easy check–in, check–out and access to the secure areas.
